Welcome Message from the Grand Knight
Brothers: As we transition to the new fraternal year on July 1, I again want to thank Miguel Rodriguez for his leadership this past year. Our council is fully functioning again after years of Covid restrictions. We have also improved support to our brothers, fellow parishioners, and our community. Miguel’s efforts deserve much credit for these and other accomplishments.
As I take the role of Grand Knight for the coming fraternal year, I want to express that is an honor to serve. I'm so proud of the Council's accomplishments over the past 12 months and I look forward to expanding our Council's membership in the year ahead as well as continuing to make a substantive impact in the lives of our brothers and sisters across our county.
I also want to thank our council officers and program leaders as they take on new roles or continue in their existing offices. We need more leaders. I invite all brothers to step up to lead an effort that inspires. If it is an existing program, we will teach you how it is currently run and then it is yours to innovate and elevate. If it is a new idea, we’ll assist in making it a reality. I’ve experienced this over the last 6 years as member of this council, our brothers always show up to give their support.
This past week, Roe vs. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court after 49 years. While this is a tremendous milestone for life to be celebrated, we must redouble our efforts and prayers to build a culture of life right here in Loudoun and across the Commonwealth of Virginia. I look forward to meeting and working alongside many of you in the weeks and months ahead.
Vivat Jesus!
