St. Theresa and the St. Louis Council Receive Award for Outstanding Community and Civic Volunteer Team  for 2021 from Loudoun Cares

On December 1st, 2020, brother Knights involved in the Council’s Construction and Handyman team assisted Loudoun Habitat for Humanity with the construction of a small front porch, front stairs and rear stairs for a home in the Howardsville Community of Loudoun County.  The new stairs provide much safer home entry and exit.  Habitat for Humanity provided all materials and tools to complete this project.  We Knights supplied labor and some technical skills with guidance and direction from Habitat for Humanity's Construction Manager.

As a result of this great work, Loudoun Cares, a non profit organization based in Leesburg that is dedicated to connecting those who serve with those in need, awarded St. Theresa and our Council the prestigious Outstanding Community and Civic Volunteer Team Award for 2021.

Congratulations to all brothers who participated in this worthy cause!
